What Is CaptionCall?

CaptionCall is a free captioned telephone service for people with hearing loss. When someone calls you, their words are automatically transcribed and displayed as captions on a large, easy-to-read screen — in real time, as they speak.

It works just like a regular phone call. You speak normally, and your caller speaks normally. CaptionCall simply adds live captions so you can read along and never miss a word — even in difficult listening situations.

The service is available as a home desk phone and as a free mobile app for smartphones and tablets.

Completely Free: CaptionCall phones and service are provided at no cost to people with hearing loss, funded by the FCC's Telecommunications Relay Service. Rebecca can help you qualify and get set up personally.

We walk you through setup personally — either in the office or at your home. The phone connects to your existing internet connection and phone line.
